Arcus-Gruppen AS conducts business in three business areas: Spirits, Wine and Distribution. The company was established in 1996, continuing production, import and distribution following deregulation of the State monopoly in these areas.

The primary companies in the Arcus Group consist of the parent company Arcus-Gruppen AS and the subsidiaries Arcus AS, Vectura AS, Vinordia AS, Arcus Wine Brands AS and Vingruppen i Norden AB (90.5 % ownership interest).

The registered office of Arcus-Gruppen is located in Oslo.

In 2007, an agreement was entered into regarding acquisition of the site at Gjelleråsen in the municipality of Nittedal with a view to relocating the business in 2012.

Arcus-Gruppen was established in 1996 and the company took over responsibility for production, import and distribution of wine and spirits following deregulation of Vinmonopolet’s monopoly in these areas. Since 2001, Arcus-Gruppen has been in the hands of private owners.

We ensure the integrity of the Norwegian cultural heritage through the production of aquavits and other spirits from old recipes and formulas, some dating far back to the early 19th century.
