Business Area Spirits includes production, marketing and sales of Norwegian and imported spirit brands through our wholly owned subsidiary Arcus AS.

Arcus AS is the largest producer and supplier of spirits in Norway.  The company has a widely diverse portfolio and owns and markets some of the most popular brands in Norway in the aquavit, vodka and cognac categories.

Arcus’ production plant at Hasle in Oslo produces and bottles Norwegian spirits, such as aquavit, vodka, gin and liqueurs and imported spirits, such as cognac and whisky, are also bottled here.

Our key Norwegian customers are Vinmonopolet and the Horeca industry. In addition around 40% of our production is exported, the most important export markets being Tax Free, the Nordic Countries and also Germany and the US.
